Almost two years after its introduction onto the market, the innovative lining developed by SACMI - together with B&B and Industrie Bitossi – can already boast a long list of successes and continues, day after day, to demonstrate its technological soundness.
This new product has already been installed on over 20 continuous mills belonging to various customers. Obtained by vulcanizing rubber around specially designed alumina bricklets, the lining continues to provide ever-more positive results:
- LCUBE lasts at least twice as long as corresponding components made of only wear-resistant rubber. In some part of the mill, such as on the mantle, LCUBE panels last over 3 times as long as traditional rubber linings;
- all mills equipped with LCUBE have shown increased grinding energy efficiency which ensures, as a matter of fact, that the investment pays for itself.
- LCUBE has a better cost-duration ratio than traditional rubber linings and allows users to reduce machine downtimes significantly;
- maintenance intervals on the entire machine can be optimised by using LCUBE lining parts together with traditional rubber parts.
In addition to what above, Sacmi is also available to work together with customers to design custom-made solutions that optimise grinding efficiency and minimise maintenance costs.
