Moscow: Sacmi to give talk on milling

A talk on Sacmi-made continuous mills to be given on 20th October as part of the Acimac-organised workshop

“The production process of ceramic tiles: specific features and new technological developments for Milling and Pressing Processes” is the title of this 4-day Moscow-held milling and pressing technician training course organised by Acimac. On 20th October, Sacmi will participate with a talk by the manager of the Milling Technical Service: “Twenty years of continuous milling in the ceramic industry”. The talk will illustrate the history of continuous milling: the first 1000 kW continuous industrial mill with gear pinion transmission (installed at Ceramica Iris of Sassuolo in 1984) and the first continuous mill with belt transmission (installed at Ceramica Cleopatra, in Egypt, in 1994). So far, Sacmi has installed over 361 continuous mills all over the world.
