New Sacmi pressure casting plant supplied to Duravit factory in France

AVE040 for the production of WCs with stick-on waterrim installed

The German Group Duravit has recently installed a new Sacmi high pressure casting plant type AVE 040 for the production of WCs with stick-on waterrim at their Bischwiller (France) sanitaryware production unit.

The high pressure casting plant, equipped with four resin moulds for various models, permits the Duravit Bischwiller factory to reduce energy costs and waste within the technological production process of complex WCs of sophisticated design.

This investment represents a further strengthening of the relationship between the groups Duravit and Sacmi in the field of ceramic sanitaryware manufacture; a cooperation which focuses on rationalizing and optimizing industrial processes with particular attention to energy savings whilst, at the same time, preserving the consolidated high quality level of the German group.
