New Sacmi roller kiln construction technology

Sacmi Forni, as part of its ongoing customer satisfaction enhancement policy, has come up with an innovative project that provides for a more rational construction of the basic roller kiln structure.
The concept behind this new construction philosophy involves sub-dividing the individual module into four parts: the two walls, the floor and the roof. These can be prefabricated and shipped individually for subsequent on-site assembly.

This solution has undeniable advantages in terms of lower transport costs (savings vis-à-vis the number of containers greater than 20% on account of a much higher container filling coefficient) and also gives improved module protection in the event of long-distance truck transport.

This project, already operative, offers an alternative to the traditional solution, in which kilns are assembled from fully pre-assembled modules.

During this introductory phase the assemble-on-site modules shall initially be limited to a roller centre-to-centre of 67.7 mm before being extended to other machines in the range.
