New factory building for Sama Maschinenbau

The Sacmi Group’s tableware machine producer sees sales soar to € 23 million

Germany-based Sama is expanding fast. At Weissenstadt construction of a new 2000 m2 production facility is now under way.
Founded in 1996 and incorporated into the Sacmi Group just one year later, Sama supplies everything and anything for the production of tableware and technical ceramic: from body preparation equipment to plate presses. This year’s total sales are expected to reach 23 million Euros, with exports accounting for 88% of that figure
With the construction of this new factory building Sama aims to concentrate its 4 production plants (two at Weissenstadt, one at Marktleuthen and the other at Kirchenlamitz) within a distinct area. Moreover, this new building will allow Sama to boost its output capacity.
