New robotized plant for Alan Metauro

Rimini-based company chooses Sacmi-Gaiotto to boost process automation

A robotized system for hollow brick filling and grinding adjustment. Developed and built by Sacmi-Gaiotto, this system will ensure Alan Metauro takes a further step forwards in production process automation. This new system unloads the products from pallets, sorts them and sends them on to the required process – filling or grinding – and then loads them back onto pallets.

Expected to be installed and operational by the end of this Spring, this system carries out various handling tasks: from the production of ground-only and filled-only products to the manufacture of products that are filled and ground as part of the same production process.

Part of the Ripa Bianca Group, Alan Metauro produces both traditional and technical bricks for the residential sector. Based in Secchiano Marecchia, Novafeltria, in the province of Rimini, the company has, over the years, steadily become more and more specialised in the brick sector, setting itself the goal of ensuring customers are provided with innovative products designed to meet fast-changing market needs.
