Poland, new Paradyz plant inaugurated at Wielka Wola

New factory owned by the giant Ceramika Paradyz for the production of porcelain tiles

Last 20th May saw the inauguration of the new plant, based in Wielka Wola, belonging to the Polish group. Attended by major public figures, the opening ceremony heralded the start of production, with all the machines perfectly tested.

Innovation and tradition: these are the salient characteristics of Polish group Ceramika Paradyz, two qualities that not only guide product definition, but also plant engineering decisions. The new plant, built next to the existing one at Wielka Wola, uses, in fact, traditional, reliable solutions but without compromising on the key innovations needed to enhance efficiency and quality.

The new SACMI MMC111 continuous modular mill - the second to be installed by Paradyz - is a case in point: it provides considerable energy savings and ensures outstanding consistency of production parameters.
In addition to grinding mills, SACMI has also supplied Ceramika Paradyz Wielka Wola 2 with PH5000XXL and PH6500 presses, which feed EVA984 vertical driers, downstream from which are two latest-generation FMS 2950mm wide kilns. The purpose of this new plant is to extend the product range and increase output of glazed porcelain tiles as large as 600 x 1200 mm.
In total the five Paradyz Group plants have an installed capacity of over 34 million square metres a year, a good percentage of which is exported all over Western and Eastern Europe. A colossus, then, whose close partnership with SACMI has been mutually rewarding ever since it began.
