Porsalina: growing with the Sacmi Whiteware Division

The Arabian Company for Ceramics purchases a new STK kiln

With Sacmi Whiteware, the future is bright. That’s why Porsalina (full name “Arabian Company for Ceramics – Porsalina”), based in Riyadh 11675 (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia), has decided on Sacmi for completion of its development plans. The most important addition was a new prefabricated mod. STK 260/46.62 m kiln, the final test certificate of which has already been signed. This kiln features the latest SACMI kiln design concepts and has a special combustion system capable of running on either kerosene or GPL. The kiln is already fully operational and meets all the qualitative and quantitative parameters established in the purchase contract. “PORSALINA” is a young enterprise with a promising outlook. Founded in 1998 this Saudi Arabian firm has so far been limited to an output of 180,000 pieces per year; yet thanks to this latest machinery production has, as from December, been boosted to 480,000 pieces per year. In addition to the STK kiln SACMI Whiteware has also supplied PORSALINA with a GAIOTTO GA 900 EV glazing robot and all the equipment needed for preparation of the slip. Company decisions such as this clearly show that PORSALINA has its sights set on increasing output and augmenting product quality through use of highly sophisticated equipment. At the same time those decisions confirm that when you need a smoothly functioning production process there’s only one ceramic machinery and complete plant supplier to get in touch with: SACMI Whiteware.
