SACMI WHITEWARE launches “EVERES” and “LOPREM”:

Anti-aging treatments for high and low-pressure resin moulds.

EVERES is a special anti-aging treatment for resin moulds, that frees pores and eliminates signs of wear. The result is a complete regeneration of high pressure moulds. Sanitaryware high pressure casting moulds, whether microporous or macroporous, have a working life of some tens of thousands of castings. Two factors determine the extent of that working life: mechanical stress and clogging of the porous cavities. Mechanical breakages can be prevented by placing the mould in a well designed container and effecting proper maintenance. Until now, though, there has been no definitive solution for cavity clogging. To resolve this problem and thus make moulds last longer, SACMI Whiteware has patented EVERES, an innovative regeneration technique that goes beyond simple cleaning and fully restores original mould performance. EVERES: an exclusive SACMI Whiteware initiative designed to maximise the performance of resin moulds and enhance relative investments. LOPREM is an exclusive production line treatment. Medium-size plants will quickly feel the benefits of innovative, low-pressure resin moulds. The plaster moulds used in low pressure casting have two drawbacks: long reset times (just 1-2 casting per day) and a limited working life (they become useless after about one hundred castings). Of course, resin moulds could be used to resolve these problems - but only at higher cost and with greater casting pressures. To provide a solution for those aiming at both medium-high complex piece output and cost containment SACMI Whiteware has patented LOPREM, an innovative technology that allows resin moulds to be used with capillary-effect low pressure. In short, LOPREM moulds provide all the advantages of resin while eliminating its disadvantages: good news for producers for whom plaster is no longer convenient and high pressure resin has yet to become so. Regeneration and low pressure casting are SACMI-patented.
