The plant supplied to Creaton at its Weroth plant has passed final testing with flying colours!
Creaton belongs to the ETEX group, the European holding company specializing in the building sector - especially roof tiles, flooring and ventilated facades – that employs a staggering 14,500 people.
The new Weroth plant was designed and developed to maximise automation and flexibility and provide an output rate of 900-1150 m2/day of tonality and tonality-plus ventilated walls from 150x300x22 and 35 kg/m2 to 600x2000x40 and 56 kg/m2
The plant consists of an extruder, guillotine, rapid 4-level roller dryer with a 45’ drying cycle, 2 glazing lines, a storage roller box and LGV, a single-layer roller kiln with a firing cycle lasting about 3 hours, an automatic cutting unit, strapping unit and palletizing robot.
The line operates on a 2-shift, 5-day basis; the kiln operates on a 3-shift, 7-day basis and the entire process is monitored by a supervisor unit.
This latest plant, then, underlines just how successful Sacmi’s large-size ventilated facade slab production technology – used by major producers worldwide - has now become.
