On 1st June, in the distinctive setting of Hotel Ossa at Rawa Mazowiecka, celebrations were held to mark the first ten years of business of the Sacmi Group’s Polish branch.
Equipped with a huge spare parts warehouse and a core of specialised technicians, Sacmi Polska operates in Poland, Ukraine, Belorussia and Lithuania, providing services mainly for the ceramic business.
The hundred or so people who attended the anniversary included owners and managers of local ceramics firms, personnel from Sacmi Polska, the Board of Directors and management from Sacmi Imola.
Following a brief welcome and a greeting from the President of Sacmi Polska, Barbara Przetakiewicz, a short speech was given by Sacmi Imola’s general manager, Mr. Pietro Cassani. He pointed out, among other things, that Sacmi Polska’s outstanding level of customer service is quickly demonstrated by a reading of the company’s key data (i.e. increased revenues and personnel).
The conference continued with two further talks: the first, of a more technological nature, concerned new trends in the tile industry, while the second focussed on the Sacmi Group’s digital devices and innovative machines close to being released on the market. Ever-attentive to the topics of innovation and efficiency, Polish ceramic firms showed keen interest in both talks.
Participants were then welcomed in the Karczma Ulanska for a gala dinner, which was nothing less than a celebration of the solid professional friendships that have linked Poles and Italians for generations.
