The venue for the event – which has become the reference point for the Indian ceramic market – is the
University Exhibition Centre at Ahmedabad in the State of Gujarat, where Sacmi will be present on a large stand of 160 m2, completely dedicated to the Ceramics Division.
Sacmi staff from tile, sanitary and tableware business units will be present at stand B050 and are already looking forward to meeting customers and visitors in order to present the very latest ceramic processing technology. Also, in the field of
technical ceramics, Sacmi representatives will be on hand to illustrate the very best solutions offered by the
Team.
During the fair the
Indian Ceramics Workshop (organised by CFI, Ceramic Forum International)
will also be held. On Thursday
3rd March at 11.20 Giorgio Renolfi from the Sacmi Whiteware division
will illustrate the effects of robotised glazing on production processes, on the environment and on conditions in the workplace. There will also be
two talks by Harald Bieker, from SAMA Machinenbau, the Germany-based Sacmi Group subsidiary dedicated to the construction of machines and plants for the production of tableware and technical ceramic.
These talks, scheduled for 11.00 and 12.40,
will focus on the latest tableware manufacturing innovations, with particular emphasis on
lowering consumption,
and on the manufacture of large-scale ceramic insulators.
Sacmi thus confirms the Group’s great interest in India - a country which, hinging on the production district of Gujarat yet also counting on output from other areas throughout the country and neighbouring states - is still one of the most dynamic markets in the world, as the many new initiatives being implemented and planned clearly demonstrate. Already with a firm presence in India with its two branches at Ahmedabad and warehouse in Morbi, Sacmi will, at the fair, also be presenting the new Morbi facility, the Group’s latest, soon to be completed.
