Sacmi attends inauguration at Tata Refractories Limited

Sacmi praised for efficient organisation and outstanding service quality

On 10th April 2006 Tata Refractories Limited, the largest and most important refractory production plant in India and, indeed, one of the biggest in the world, inaugurated its new Dolomite plant. Invited to the event in Belpahar (India) was - among other suppliers – Mr. Pieraldo Masotti, Sales Manager of Sacmi Imola’s refractory department. The invitation was extended so as to award Sacmi with an official certificate praising it for the outstanding service it provided as exclusive press supplier and for its role as a much-valued partner in Tata Refractories’ modernisation and expansion program.
Following the visit to the new plant and the pressing department, in which fully operational Sacmi presses were seen in action, the ceremony continued in the company’s meeting hall. Here, Dr. J.J. Irani, a board member of the holding company of Tata Refractories Limited, gave a speech in which he included Sacmi among their most valued suppliers, praising the cooperative for its efficient organisation, excellent customer service and the outstanding technological content of its machines. Dr. Irani also expressed his sincere appreciation of the strong partnership that has bound Sacmi and Tata Refractories for a long time.
So far a total of 8 high performance 1600-ton Sacmi hydraulic presses, together with 2 kilns from the German subsidiary, Laeis have been installed at this Indian plant.
