Sacmi Group will be attending the fourteenth edition of Revestir (San Paolo, Transamerica Expo Center, 01-04 March), South America’s main trade fair dedicated to tiles and sanitaryware producers. The trade fair, which will gather hundreds of exhibitors with all the latest innovations in the field of ceramic tiles and sanitaryware, is now a key reference point for the South American market and it is expecting to welcome thousands of visitors from over 60 countries.
Sacmi staff from tile, whiteware and heavy clay divisions will be on hand at stand 390 (in the Acimac area) and are already looking forward to meeting customers and visitors so they can illustrate the very latest ceramic processing technology. More specifically, Sacmi will be showcasing the new DHD digital printer, the wet digital decorator in its "3.0" version. Equipped with Dimatix heads, this belongs to a new generation of ink-jet machines for the controlled application of inks and glazes, thus allowing the establishment of a fully digitalised glazing line, that extends the aesthetic potential of products even further.
Sacmi is thus renewing its presence at this fair, as a further confirmation of the importance of the Brazilian market for the Imola-headed group.
Sacmi has been present in Brazil for over 45 years with Sacmi do Brazil, a production plant near San Paolo in Brazil (Mogi Mirim), which manufactures kilns and spray-driers and supplies local customers with technical assistance and spare parts, not only for the Ceramic Division but also for the Closures and Beverage Business Units of the Pakacing Division.
