Sacmi teams up with Caroma in Australia

The partnership with Australia’s only sanitaryware producer continues: further casting machines installed

Following the outstanding results achieved with the first two Sacmi-built AVE040 high pressure WC casting machines installed in 2000, Caroma – Australia’s only sanitaryware producer –decided to implement high pressure casting technology at its Sydney plant. Continuing its partnership with this Australian giant, the Sacmi Group responded by supplying and starting up two AVE040 open-rim WC casting machines and two AVM150 stick-on rim casting machines.
Over the last few years Caroma has achieved a position of prestige thanks to shrewd marketing strategies and the Sacmi technology, which will ensure Caroma retains its cost leadership position in Australia. A member company of the GWA Group, Caroma also produces seat covers, taps, tank mechanisms and plastic tanks: a range of high-quality products that meets Australians’ bathroom equipment requirements in full.
