Saudi firm Al Jawdah increases sales and economies of scale

Sacmi-supplied machines raise the company’s output capacity considerably

Saudi firm Al Jawdah, the renowned tile producer located in the new industrial district of the capital, Riyadh, has chosen Sacmi for its new investment plans: yet another stride forwards for Sacmi on the promising Middle Eastern market.

The company’s goal of increased productivity in the grinding and spray drying departments was largely met through the installation of a 92,000-litre MMC 092 high-efficiency mill and a 9,000 litres-per-hour ATM 90 spray dryer, the latter being integrated with the existing spray drying system. Sacmi also supplied a new FMS kiln, able to produce 8,000 m2 of finished product per day.

Through this investment, Al Jawdah not only aims to give its sales a boost, but also expects - thanks to a more than proportional ratio between the cost of the investment and the increase in output capacity - to augment its economies of scale significantly. Moreover, the flexibility that these Sacmi solutions give Al Jawdah in terms of optimising the production performance of existing accessory lines is remarkable.
