Shanghai Asa

10 years of Fortune

On April 22nd Shanghai ASA, formerly known as Shanghai Fortune, celebrated the 10th anniversary of its opening. This tile manufacturing company may well be the most successful Taiwanese investment ever to have been made in mainland China. Right from the start ASA has been a leading producer of single firing wall tiles: now, with over 8 production lines, it has succeeded in becoming a key player on all segments of the tile market. The key factors in ASA’s success have been high quality of output and forward-looking management policies. When it was founded, SACMI immediately realised that this was an enterprise with enormous growth potential and has always worked in close collaboration with ASA, nurturing mutually rewarding business relations that have led to constant investments in new machinery Given the importance of this relationship and the fact that SACMI is ASA’s prime supplier, SACMI management participated at ASA’s anniversary celebrations.
