The Spotlight is on Sacmi Sanitaryware Technology at Unicera

A special technical seminar will be held at the exhibition in Istanbul on March 4th

Always competitive and constantly changing, one of the main allies of the sanitaryware ceramics industry is technological evolution for creating ever-more competitive products that are of high quality and, not less important, sustainable for the environment.
This topic will be the focus of the technical seminar programmed in Istanbul for March 4th at Unicera, the most important trade show for ceramics in Turkey.

The main players in the Italian ceramic machine manufacturing industry will meet on the banks of the Bosphorus River to demonstrate to the Unicera audience the main product and process innovations that continue to highlight the excellence of Made in Italy for production and the supply of technology all over the world.

Sacmi will participate in the seminar with the report “latest innovations in sanitaryware production” entrusted to Andrea Cannella. The report will examine sanityware production, starting with the latest developments in Sacmi’s research and development laboratory in collaboration with Sacmi’s design department.

Therefore, the most important points that will be highlighted, even on this occasion, will be the advantages that high pressure casting provides respecting traditional plaster technology. Sacmi was the forerunner in the world regarding this innovation, which is now the preferred solution of all the main world manufacturers in this sector, starting from the important supplies Sacmi addresses to emerging economies that continue to show signs of strong vitality, even in this difficult time for the international economy.

These state-of-the-art solutions also have the possibility of benefiting from consistent industrial synergies in Sacmi, especially regarding automation. Sacmi automation solutions increase process efficiency and safety at the workplace considerably, as well as providing a high quality finished product. These solutions add another element to boost competitiveness, alongside the high pressure casting technology available to the sanityware industry. Just imagine the possibility of going from casting to finishing to drying, glazing and firing with practically no human intervention.
