Sacmi, partner to the best international designers. That’s what emerged from the rankings drawn up by Wallpaper Magazine – the key global-level publication for all the latest lifestyle, design and architectural trends – illustrating the world’s 100 best designers (just for the record, the n° 1 ranking is held by Jonathan Yve, a designer at Apple).
Thanks to the partnership with Mutina – a leading company in the creation of beautifully designed ceramic surfaces – Sacmi, has, in fact, had the opportunity to work with no less than six of the top designers listed by Wallpaper Magazine:
Kostantin Grcic, Barber Osgerby, Bouroullec Brothers,
Patricia Urquiola, Tokujin Yoshioka Inga Sempè.
Sacmi feels privileged to have had the opportunity to share its knowledge on the potential of new manufacturing technologies with these top-class names, thus boosting their interest in applying their creativity to the ceramic sector.
The outcome has been some extraordinary projects, completed using Continua® technology. “This is the sort of machine”, observed Ronan Bouroullec during the exhibition at the Louvre in Paris in 2013, “that designers dream of.
