Zalakeramia - Hungary

New complete double firing plant

On 15th June 2002 start-up and testing of a new complete Sacmi double firing line began at the Tofei plant, a part of the Hungarian Zalakeramia Group. Output capacity for tiles of the 200x250 mm size is 6200 m²/day. The body preparation and spray drying equipment have been sized to produce enough spray dried powder to feed both this new plant and another double firing line supplied previously. Plant engineering solutions include machines and equipment of the latest design such as the continuous MTC 061 mill and a box handling system that features automatically guided vehicles.
