“Sacmi World” on Display in Algeri

The best of Sacmi’s solutions at Djzagro 2012: from beverage to packaging, to machines for chocolate processing and packaging.

Integrated and turnkey solutions, from raw materials to the bottle, product and process innovation for packaging and closures, and machines for chocolate processing and packaging. Welcome to “Sacmi World,” with more innovative proposals than ever at Djazagro 2012 in Algeri, the international exhibition dedicated to the food and farming product processing and preservation business with machines and equipment for making bread, desserts and food for the restaurant industry.

The appointment for 2012 is in the capital of Algeria from April 23 to 26. Sacmi’s 24 m.sq. stand in the central pavilion presents Sacmi Closures, Sacmi Beverage, Sacmi Verona and Carle & Montanari’s commercial structures. Carle & Montanari is even stronger thanks to the recent merger in the new holding, making it the leading Italian colossus in processing and packaging for the chocolate industry. The particularly dynamic stage of North Africa presents an opportunity for proposing the numerous innovations created in 2011 to a vast audience of visitors and specialized operators, keeping in mind one of the Sacmi Group’s strongest attributes, its capillary sales network and after-sales service spread over four continents.

Regarding closing equipment, Sacmi presents the high performance CCM series, a real product innovation with which the Group has revolutionized production methods in this sector. Also on display is the beverage line, which made a significant jump in quality in 2011 with the development of the renewed SBF blower series (stretch blow forming), making it one of the most competitive solutions on the market today for PET bottle production in all possible formats.

And there’s more. Thanks to the Beverage Division created in 2009, the synergies created not only provide excellent performance of “stand alone” production machines, but also, and above all, the integration of the best developed abilities in labeling, with Sacmi Verona and its Roll Fed Sleeve Technology, filling with the COMBO and SOLO-MAS solutions of Sacmi Filling, and, of course, closing with Sacmi Packaging’s CCM. This allows the Group to offer the customer a planning service for the manufactured product in terms of design, a particularly important detail to be taken into consideration in the current market.

Last, but definitely not least in terms of importance, the new Carle&Montanari-OPM company unites all the most important aspects of production excellence, creating the leading Italian production hub for the supply of turnkey solutions regarding chocolate processing and packaging.
