CVS upgrades under way

Upgrade kits for CVS units provide all the most recent technical innovations and a longer machine life

Since 2005 Sacmi Vision Systems Division has been producing upgrade packs for CVS units that are capable of putting a 10/15-year-old machine on a par with its current-day counterparts. These upgrades allow users to equip SACMI with the latest HW, SW and optical technologies and thus extend the working life of the machine - with evident savings. More specifically, HW and SW updates offer a new “Easy-User” interface, a mode that simplifies man-machine interaction and makes work cycle programming more immediate.
Upgrade kits (CVS2000) were initially supplied for lining machines (PMC250) built between 1992 and 2001; this renewal process is now being extended to other CVS users who have metal packaging (ends, cans) inspection machines. The CVS units currently being upgraded are the CVS100, CVS150, CVS200 and CVS250.
