Chinaplas calls, Sacmi and Negri Bossi answer

At the 20th edition of the exhibition, with new injection presses and compression machines

Shanghai, China. The 20th Chinaplas exhibition, on from 26 to 29 April, will house more than 90,000 square metres of the latest products and cutting edge technology for the plastic and rubber industry.
The Sacmi and Negri Bossi stand (W1D51) will cover 160 square metres in the W1 Hall. The Closures and Pet division of Sacmi Imola will present the new CCM005, a compression machine for manufacturing plastic caps. It is the latest addition to the CCM range, joining the CCM002 (64 punch) and CCM003 (32 punch) models, which have been launched to great success in recent years. The new unit is equipped with 48 tools to produce caps that reach a rated maximum diameter of 33 mm, at a speed of 1200 caps/minute, i.e. a record cycle time of 2.4 seconds. Negri Bossi on the other hand is taking two new injection presses to Shanghai. The new machines follow the philosophy of the Group’s Milan company by responding to market needs with customer-specific solutions rather than standard, general purpose units. These machines feature tailor-made systems that are the result of constant research and technological partnerships in the automation, robotics and process applications sectors.
With over 52,000 visitors from 79 countries and 1,100 exhibitors, Chinaplas is the largest plastic and rubber trade fair in Asia.
