Cutting-edge presses at Plastindia 2009

From the Sacmi Imola CCM24S to the Negri Bossi V370, the latest in the Canbio series

“The future is here”: this is the ambitious presentation slogan for the Plastindia fair, to be held from 4th to 9th February in the capital city of New Delhi.
Sacmi will be flying to New Delhi with the Sacmi Imola and Negri Bossi sales teams. Visitors will have the opportunity to talk to the Sacmi staff on stand C25 hall 12a, a 144 m2 display area that will be hosting some technological gems that represent the very best pressing technology the Group has to offer.
Also on show will be the CCM24S, which features the very latest cutting-edge compression technology to be developed by the Sacmi Imola Closures & Containers Division research labs. Now virtually a synonym for competitiveness in terms of reliability and performance, this machine has taken continuous compression moulding technology to the next level. Its 24 moulds make it ideal for companies looking to achieve hourly output rates of 30,000 pieces. Able to produce caps with diameters of up to 33 mm (in PP or PE), the CCM24S has given the Sacmi production range a significant boost by blending outstanding productivity with low consumption, very low maintenance costs, managerial flexibility (e.g. by minimising colour changeover times), practicality of use and compact design. The CCM24S is produced by Sacmi with an integrated vision system for on-line quality control.
Yet pride of place at Plastindia 2009 goes to the V370 press, yet another addition to the much-acclaimed series of Canbio presses produced by Negri Bossi, the Sacmi Group company that is one of Europe’s leading designers and makers of thermoplastic processing machines. Presented in the General Industry sector, this fully digital hydraulic press will, at the fair, be equipped to mould DVD cases. The V370 is the top model in a press series that is revolutionary: thanks to extensive use of digital technology, it has profoundly innovated the plastic injection process, ensuring outstanding moulding precision and excellent repeatability through smooth digital control.
We look forward to seeing you at Plastindia and showing you all the latest from SACMI!
