Sacmi USA has been operating successfully on the American market since 1994, providing assistance and spare parts in all the Group’s strategic business areas, from ceramics to beverage&packaging. Equipped to provide customers with close support right from the design stage and, therefore, throughout the working life of the machine or plant, Sacmi will be taking part in Pack Expo, Chicago (6-9 November 2016 - #S-2066) with the aim of further strengthening its presence on the strategic North American market; it shall be presenting its comprehensive range of technological solutions, noted for their productivity, efficiency, flexibility and process automation.
Labelling technology
The new range of KUBE modular labellers displayed at the fair offers the most outstanding versatility on the market: these were developed by Sacmi to respond to even the most sophisticated production needs, offering the ability to work in parallel, efficiently, across multiple technologies and labelling systems. With a solid, compact structure made entirely of stainless steel, the new KUBE has labelling units outside the carousel, allowing operation (without distinction and with just one passage through the machine) on different label application systems (self-adhesive, hot glue, cold glue). The advantages of manufacturing flexibility have been combined with an extremely linear structural configuration that, thanks to its modularity, allows easy access to vital machine parts and simpler use and maintenance.

Already stars of the show at previous editions of Pack Expo, Sacmi-developed labelling solutions are now accompanied by an even more complete, high speed range of quality control solutions, integrated directly on the line. Thanks to vision systems designed and developed by the Group’s Automation & Service Division – such as the LVS, or label vision system – it is possible to effect all-round quality control at every stage of cap, labelled bottle and primary packaging production.
