National Plastics Exhibition featuring SACMI

New Generation machines for plastics in Chicago.

At Chicago National Plastic, NPE exhibition , taking place from June 19th to 23rd, SACMI Group will be presenting new proposal within Plastic field, featuring more than ever suitability, higher grade of automation and excellent performances on integrated and customized solutions, always addressed to better fulfil Customer’s demand.. These are SACMI main principles onto which we shall be aiming with our new machinery to display at NPE McCormick South building, hall no. 1870 exhibiting onto an area of more than 600 square meters. Negri Bossi and Gaiotto Automation as SACMI’s subsidiaries will be displaying as well with innovative machineries and technologies for plastic applications.
SACMI IMOLA will be introducing to the market the new CCM24L 24-station rotary compression molding press for the production of plastic caps up to 70mm in diameter.
This machine incorporates patented technical solutions that materially improve the aesthetics of the molded parts eliminating the superficial “blemish” typical of the compression molding process, a serious improvement especially  for wide-mouth caps.
The CCM24L Compression Molder can reach a maximum speed rate of 450 caps/minute with an astounding cycle time of 3.125 seconds, achieving an output rate that would have been unthinkable just a few years ago.
Thanks to short cycle-time and to the decidedly unbeatable price, the CCM24L is the ideal match for the requirements of the wide-mouth closure market, both for PP and HDPE resin.
The need for more compact line lay-outs has led to the development of a series of TE-band folding & slitting combo machines such as the new FSM12L (on display at the exhibition arranged as stand-alone machine, but recommended as in-line machine with the molder or lining machine).
The FSM12L folding & slitting combo machine is capable of performing the TE-band folding and slitting operations at rates of up to 2000 caps per minute on closures up to 70 mm in diameter, achieving a real breakthrough not only about costs, but also about floor-space, substantially reducing the foot-print of the line; moreover it can be optionally fitted/retro-fitted with SACMI's innovative CVS2000 Video QC Control System for a real-time inspection of the entire caps production.
Sacmi will also be exhibiting the micropitch 72 cavities injection mold for 19g PET performs. At the National Plastics Exhibition SACMI shall have the pleasure to present our  Surveyor 900, A X-ray lab machine allowing to test and study as much faster and most accurately the geometry of a case, no matter the shape or material is made of, examining it during working processing.
