Sacmi De Mexico, a technological reference point for 25 years

Integrated technology and plant engineering for the beverage industry at Expo Pack Mexico 2015, a key event for the entire Central and South American market.

Renowned for providing close support to customers on all the main international markets, Sacmi enjoys a long-standing presence in Mexico through its local branch, Sacmi de Mexico, which will, in 2015, be celebrating 25 years of doing business. Needless to say, Sacmi will have its own stand #2636 at the coming edition of Expo Pack Mexico, the country’s most important beverage & packaging technology fair, to be held from 16th to 19th June 2015. The event is expected to attract at least 26,000 professional operators from some 30 countries.

The fair is also expected to attract some 1,000 exhibitors, and the Sacmi Group will be playing a prominent role: visitors will have a great opportunity to get a close look at the full range of technology and integrated, turnkey plant engineering solutions for the beverage world, a range that underwent further development and expansion in 2014. One of just a handful of companies in the world capable of providing excellent plant engineering solutions for every stage of the production process, Sacmi stands out thanks to a range that focuses on product quality and process automation.

This includes labelling solutions developed by Sacmi over recent years according to the key concept of “modularity”, allowing manufacturers to operate efficiently, using just one machine, with different gluing systems (hot, cold, self-adhesive, etc.) thanks to the ‘plug&play’ system.

From pellet to pallet, then, Sacmi provides machines for the manufacture of caps and preforms, sectors in which it leads the market with CCM compression presses for the former and an innovative range of injection presses (such as the IPS400 with moulds having up to a 128 cavities) for the latter.

In parallel, the R&D facility, dedicated to the beverage sector and certified by top international players in the industry, has come up with important new developments for the inspection of the entire cap-bottle system, thus providing even further guarantees for the customer.

In addition to specialised operators from all over Mexico, Expo Pack always generates plenty of participation from neighbouring countries, from Argentina to Colombia, from Costa Rica to El Salvador, Guatemala, Peru and Venezuela, thus making it the de facto reference point for the entire Central and Southern American market. A strategic event, then, for Sacmi, which provides, in addition to far-reaching sales networks and numerous offices, an ultra-efficient spare parts and after-sales assistance service. Sacmi De Mexico has now been a dependable technology hub for over 25 years, providing customers with valuable support tight from the initial design stage and throughout the entire working life of the machine or plant.
