Sacmi beverage at Brau Beviale 2006

Sacmi Labelling to present latest versions of its Opera labellers at Nuremberg

SACMI Beverage&Packaging is set to be a key protagonist of Brau Beviale 2006, the European drinks industry fair to be held from 15th to 17th November at Nuremberg. With 1,500 exhibitors – over a third of whom are international – and 38,000 visitors, this biennial fair presents a comprehensive range of raw materials for the beverage industry plus machines, complete plants and technology for bottling. Also on show will be new solutions for transport, logistics, publicity and marketing within the beverage industry.

Thanks to a traditionally high turnout of at least 40% of the world’s beverage industry companies, it provides an outstanding overview of the European market. As in the 2004 edition, floor space will be at least 80 thousand square metres (hall 7, stands 7-140); here, Sacmi Labelling will be presenting some of its biggest technological innovations. With over 500 machines installed worldwide, Sacmi Labelling is now one of the labelling industry’s major plant engineers.

On a stand measuring 144 square metres, our Mantova-based company will be exhibiting the very latest Opera labeller versions, such as the Opera Roll Fed, a continuous roll-fed labeller that can reach output rates of 1000 bpm with just a single labelling station! It can also be equipped with several innovative applications: an automatic 2-roll splicing system so that work can be carried out continuously, a modular system that can be adapted to any packaging project and an extremely advanced servomotor-based plate rotation control system.

Other SACMI Beverage&Packaging Group companies will be taking advantage of this prestigious showcase by participating with their sales departments. For example, Sacmi Imola will be there with the Closures&PET and Automation & Inspection Systems divisions, leaders in the design and construction of machines and complete plants for the production of crown, aluminium and plastic caps and pre-form moulds. Moreover, customers from all over the world will have an opportunity to see filling technology by Sacmi Filling and complete packaging and palletising lines by Sacmi Packaging.

During the 3-day event, stands at Brau Beviale 2006 can be visited from 9 am to 6 pm. For further information please see www.brau-beviale.de.
