Sacmi packaging-beverage solutions to be showcased in Kenya

The region's biggest economy, Kenya, will be hosting ProPak East Africa (7-9 March 2017). Sacmi shall be taking part on the UCIMA (Italian Union of Automatic Machine Makers) stand.

Sacmi [#14H] will soon take part in ProPak East Africa, a key event on the continent for the packaging, moulding and plastics industries. Group representatives will be on hand at the collective Italian UCIMA (Unione Costruttori Macchine Automatiche) stand. UCIMA is heading to this strategic event to develop new business contacts in an area that has one of the world's highest growth potentials.

Hosting the event is Kenya, the area's largest economy, which accounts for no less than 37% of all trade in the region. Here, in the capital city of Nairobi (Kenyatta International Conference Center, from 7th to 9th March 2017), at least 2,200 professional operators from 38 countries will be meeting up. Together, they have the potential to generate new contracts (on the basis of the results of the last edition of the two-yearly fair) valued at over 200 million dollars.

Fully aware of the strategic importance of this continent and having had a strong presence on its main markets for years - from the Maghreb to South Africa - Sacmi has, since, 2014, invested in three dedicated branches: Sacmi South Africa, based in Cape Town, Sacmi North Africa based in Morocco and the soon-to-be-opened branch in Kenya itself, of pivotal importance to the sub-Saharan area. With a strong focus on the development and sale of packaging-beverage solutions, the three branches work alongside customers to complete finely targeted design and plant engineering solutions; then, thanks to a fast, efficient spare parts service, they provide customers with close support throughout the working life of the machine or plant.

The Sacmi range offers plenty of new products, with cutting-edge solutions for both converters and bottlers of beverages. Moreover, Kenya also hosts key branches for all the main international players in the industry.

Ultra-high output and energy performance, outstanding efficiency thanks to high levels of line automation (Sacmi supplies, via its own companies, all product handling and end of line robots) are the defining characteristics of a Group that leads the way across multiple technologies and industries. Alongside product excellence, Sacmi supplies an all-round assistance service before, during and after the sale. This is a factor that makes a huge difference, especially on new markets where the growing demand for advanced technological solutions is accompanied by a need to count on a sole partner who guarantees maximum return on investment.

Note also, as part of its integrated, comprehensive product range, Sacmi also supplies the latest technological upgrades, allowing manufacturers to make ever-lighter, higher-performing caps and containers. What's more, the latter go hand in hand with total quality control solutions developed by the Group's Automation&Service Division. These keep all machine/plant performance parameters under close, real-time control (also remotely). Then, thanks to advanced tele-assistance software, installable on the entire range, manufacturers can count on support from a specialised Sacmi technician 7 days a week, anywhere in the world.
