Sacmi [#14H] will soon take part in ProPak East Africa, a key event on the continent for the packaging, moulding and plastics industries. Group representatives will be on hand at the collective Italian UCIMA (Unione Costruttori Macchine Automatiche) stand. UCIMA is heading to this strategic event to develop new business contacts in an area that has one of the world's highest growth potentials.
Hosting the event is Kenya, the area's largest economy, which accounts for no less than 37% of all trade in the region. Here, in the capital city of Nairobi (Kenyatta International Conference Center, from 7th to 9th March 2017), at least 2,200 professional operators from 38 countries will be meeting up. Together, they have the potential to generate new contracts (on the basis of the results of the last edition of the two-yearly fair) valued at over 200 million dollars.
