Vezio Bernardi heads Sacmi Beverage

From raw materials to the bottle, from plant layout to individual machines and final product design. This is Sacmi Beverage, the Sacmi Group business unit that provides turnkey solutions to the drinks industry and which is, as of 1st November, headed by Vezio Bernardi.

Mr. Bernardi has had a long career in Sacmi. He has been sales Manager of the Closures&Containers Division and, since March 2010, CEO of Sacmi Filling, a mainstay, together with Sacmi Labelling, Sacmi Packaging and Sacmi Imola, of the new Business Unit that has, since 2009, brought together the entire range of Sacmi’s goods and services for the beverage industry within a single production and sales logic. In addition to placing his many years of experience and knowledge at the disposal of the entire Business Unit, Mr. Bernardi will also be maintaining his role as Sales Manager at the Closures&Containers Division. He take the helm from Pietro Cassani, General Manager of the Sacmi Group and Sacmi Imola.

A nomination, then, designed to ensure continuity. And one that comes at the end of a crucial transition phase that has allowed Sacmi to meet the changed needs of a beverage market that demands flexibility and integrated solutions alongside reliability, outstanding performance and contained energy consumption: characteristics that have always been the unmistakeable hallmarks of all Sacmi Group solutions for the beverage industry.
