Negri Bossi, a Sacmi Group company and European market leader in the design and manufacture of machines for handling thermo-plastic materials, will be present at this year’s Interplastica fair in Moscow - Hall 1 stand 1D11 – to present its  wide and varied range of integrated solutions for moulding and post-processing.
One of the latest products launched by Negri Bossi is the new JANUS series, , a line of hybrid machines which are the perfect link between toggle hydraulic technologies and “full electric” ones.
These machines are equipped with electric actuators for closing the moulds and for rotation of the auger whilst they have hydraulic ones for the injection stage. This allows both for perfect synchronization of movements, on one hand and, on the other hand, provides high application flexibility since several different types of configurations are possible using, for example, variable delivery pumps instead of accumulators.

The hybrid solution means, in fact, that the most suitable actuator, hydraulic or electric, can be used by calibrating it for the specific movement required with the result that the process is made more efficient as well as ensuring  higher energy savings. Particularly effective is the JANUS version hybrid press which is equipped with the new  “Smart Energy” system making it possible to reach energy levels similar to the “Full Electric” solution whilst guaranteeing performances which are difficult to achieve with standard electric presses.
Accurate, silent and high performance, the result of a winning combination of experience and innovation. 

The solution which will be exhibited at the Fair is a hybrid JANUS 370 T press with injection assembly 2100.

Finally, another important product to be seen is the SINTESI 250-1600 press made by BM Biraghi. Among the interesting technical features that the SINTESI series presses are equipped with, of particular importance is the high-performance and extremely compact injection assembly. The excellent quality of plastification is guaranteed by the high l/d ratio of the augers. The Sintesi series presses can house even large size moulds without losing flexibility – thanks to the quick lock systems of the ejector equipment – and, as regards the hydraulic assembly, these presses use a system having a variable delivery pump with speed and pressure integrated electronic control, guaranteeing very high energy savings.

Finally, the ELIOS 4000 user interface, one of the most high-technology systems currently available on the market, is simple to use and flexible allowing for proper control of machine parameters (including technical assistance) even in remote mode through the use of any PC connected to the network.
