The VE160 is the brand new press from the “Canbel Cleaning Applications full electric” line launched by Negri Bossi of the SACMI Group. This press represents the latest important innovation proposed by the company for the medical article moulding sector.
The VE160 press is “fully electric” thus allowing for a considerable reduction in consumption compared to the most innovative hydraulic solutions.
The “Canbel Cleaning Applications” line has been specially designed for use in sterile environments and for all applications (including the food industry) where hydraulic oil or lubricants could contaminate the moulded product.
The line successfully combines the classic advantages of electric presses with new solutions developed for the mould assembly and guides of the mobile deck. These solutions mean that the moulding zone and area where the pieces fall are free of lubricants thus guaranteeing that the moulded piece will be as clean and uncontaminated as possible.
Lubrication of the toggle is made with minimum amounts of special greases which, thanks to new bushes made of graphite, do not tend to build up during production.
The mobile deck is supported by prismatic roller guides which guarantee perfect parallelism while leaving free the columns so that these no longer require any lubrication.
Furthermore, wear and heat resistance are ensured by the bimetallic cylinder on one side and by suitable ceramic heating elements on the other.
It is important to emphasize that over the last few years, whilst continuing its commitment to the development of its own products, Negri Bossi has also invested in research into the post-processing of plastic materials.
