As of today it won’t just be a matter of production. Nuova Fima’s goal, in fact, is to make the spare parts service and, more generally, after-sales assistance, operational immediately. This is part of a policy to restore it, as quickly as possible, as the industry’s reference point for sorting lines and vision systems.

By taking over part of the Fiorano-based company and saving it from the prospect of closure, Sacmi has not just secured jobs for many of Nuova Fima’s workers: in doing so it has also reinforced and completed its product range, creating an end-of-line group that provides a diversified, integrated, efficient response to the all customer needs.

Nuova Fima sorting lines and Surface Inspection vision systems will be integrated with the Sacmi Automation range, with mosaic and trim manufacturing systems by Kemac and products made by Sima, a specialist in product handling and storage systems and also, for some time now, a key player in the production of automatic laser-guided.
