Sacmi's entry into the plastic business began with the takeover of a true leader: in 2002 Sacmi purchased Negri Bossi, a company founded in the post-war period and one of the first European companies to specialise in the development, design and marketing of thermoplastic injection presses.
The fact that this leadership position has been maintained and reinforced over time owes much to a future-oriented, innovation-focussed industrial policy. At present, the Group Plastics division includes Bi-Power, Negri Bossi, Bm Biraghi and Sytrama (Roboline) brands. Sytrama, operating in the automation sector, has been taken over by Negri Bossi in 2011 to complete its range of machines.
Key factors in the Sacmi Group's success within the plastics field include technological excellence, an ongoing expansion of the product range and, above all, the ability to offer customised products, more and more oriented towards the design of turnkey production lines that meet even the most varied customer requirements in full. |
