HYDROFORMING
Hydroforming is a cost-effective way of shaping metals such as aluminium, brass, low alloy steel, and stainless steel into lightweight, structurally stiff and strong pieces.
During the hydroforming process a hydraulic fluid is injected at a very high pressure into a plain die making sheet metals and tubes adhere to its sides and taking the required shape.
Even if there are a number of different industrial applications of the hydroforming techniques all of them require high-pressure fluids and a press capable of withstanding the very high forces generated inside the die.
And this is exactly what SACMI’s Hydroforming Line is designed for.
