Deca continues to invest in SACMI pressure casting

Deca, Brazil's biggest sanitaryware manufacturers and part of the Duratex Group, has strengthened its long partnership with SACMI by installing a new ALS pressure casting machine at its plant in Recife, the capital of Pernambuco State.

The machine is able to cast a daily capacity of 1.050 pieces split between washbasins and pedestals thanks to the installed 15 multi-cavity moulds.

This investment - strategic to the factory's technological renewal and modernisation plan - strengthens a long-standing partnership between the SACMI Group and this Brazilian company. This alliance – which has seen Deca factories supplied with everything from kilns to casting lines and glazing lines over the years – underscores the acknowledged reliability and versatility of SACMI technology, which offers the best possible response to the modern sanitaryware market's need for flexibility.

Already fully operational for some months now (to the customer's complete satisfaction), this new casting machine reinforces the role of the Recife production plant in the Duratex Group's ongoing growth and development plans in Brazil and, indeed, across all of Latin America.
