From the point of view of personal training, SACMI's human capital best expresses the technical culture deeply rooted in the district and in the Emilia-Romagna region. In addition to numerous training initiatives on safety at work, SACMI pays constant attention and commitment to increasing the skills and professional abilities of its people, to enhance their individual expectations of personal and professional growth and, at the same time, meet the innovation needs of production through the training of new skills in the main lines of business development. These permanent training activities are not only addressed in an organic way to SACMI's internal staff, but also fully involve the Cooperative's partners, from training and testing activities at customers' premises to the organization of public events, also open to citizens, on issues of interest to the world of work and business. In particular, SACMI Innovation Lab was recently inaugurated, a structure candidate to be part of the Emilia-Romagna High Technology Network, whose mission is to train new personnel on the key issues of Industry 4.0. Since 2019, SACMI has also been a partner of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, one of the most prestigious international university structures for research applied to industry.
