Sacmi Group at Batimatec 2016

The Sacmi Group will be out in force for the 2016 edition of Batimatec, the international construction fair that will be opening its doors this coming 3rd May in Algiers. Year after year, this is a fair that has shown itself to be crucial for the Algerian market, the entire Mediterranean basin and the North Africa area.

Sacmi personnel from Tiles and Heavy Clay divisions look forward to welcoming customers and visitors to their stand at the entrance to hall A (outer part) to illustrate the latest cutting-edge technology for the production of tiles and bricks.

As for the Heavy Clay Business, Sacmi comes to the fair after recently winning orders for 5 complete production plants, now in the process of being assembled. This extends the already impressive list of customers which has grown steadily over the years and has recently felt the positive effects of the numerous systems built by Cosmec, an automation specialist that recently joined the Group.

The fast-growing Algerian heavy clay market, always on the look-out for products of ever-higher quality and complexity, has embraced the Sacmi philosophy with open arms: a philosophy that aims to provide high-tech plants, particularly in terms of firing, drying and product handling technology, even on a market that is, albeit only apparently, a ‘weak’ one.

Sacmi, then, reaffirms its attentiveness to this country, which, after years of producing just light hollow B8/B12 bricks, is now showing signs of opening up towards new items requiring more complex production processes such as ceiling bricks and structural/thermal blocks. A market that is more and more attentive to the handling of their wares and investing in both traditional automation and more advanced robotized solutions.

Alongside the cutting-edge range of Sacmi heavy clay systems will be innovative Tiles manufacturing solutions: in this edition, in fact, Sacmi also pays particular attention to customers and visitors interested in machines and equipment for tiles production, who will have the opportunity to meet at the Algerian exhibition Sacmi commercial representatives, eager to present the very latest ceramic processing technology, like for instance the new DHD digital printer. The wet digital decorator in its "3.0" version is equipped with Dimatix heads and belongs to a new generation of ink-jet machines for the controlled application of inks and glazes, thus allowing the establishment of a fully digitalised glazing line, that extends the aesthetic potential of products even further.

Sacmi is thus once again confirming its interest in the Algerian market, where it is constantly present with its sales network, providing the necessary technical and sales support to the many customers who are becoming ever-more open and attentive to innovation.
